Offerings

  • I offer individual therapy for individuals seeking support with:

    • Eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns

    • Anxiety and depression

    • Trauma

    • Relationship challenges

In my practice, I offer care tailored to supporting athletes, therapists and other healthcare professionals, and LGBTQIA+ individuals.

  • Unraveling Body Image: an IFS group

This VIRTUAL group offers a supportive space for women in their 20s and 30s to begin healing their relationship with body image and reconnect with themselves. Using an Internal Family Systems (IFS) lens, we’ll explore the inner “parts” that carry self-criticism, perfectionism, insecurity, and fear—while strengthening the compassionate, confident Self within. Together, members will build self-trust, body respect, and gain lasting tools for healing in a space rooted in connection, courage, and authenticity.

Mondays at 5:30pm; rolling with enrollment every 6 weeks

    Led by Kayla Devine LICSW

ED Process Group for Healthcare Clinicians

This group is a supportive, compassionate, and confidential space for healthcare professionals—doctors, nurses, therapists, dietitians, and others—who are navigating eating disorder recovery. Here, members can openly process the unique challenges of recovery while working in the healthcare field, share experiences, and connect with others who truly understand. Our goal is to foster understanding, reduce isolation, and create a judgment-free environment where healing and community can coexist.

    Wednesdays at 6pm; 8 weeks

Co-led by Kayla Devine LICSW and Abby Behar LICSW (Behar Counseling PLLC)

  • I believe eating disorder recovery is a team sport. To best support individuals who are struggling and their families, I offer care navigating topics such as:

    • Education on eating disorders, the recovery process, and treatment

    • Supporting improved communication around topics of mental health

    • Developing shared understandings of what support means and looks like for each unique family unit

Family sessions can include anyone you consider family, whether chosen or blood related. I ground my work in the belief that family is defined as those who play a significant, impactful role in our unfolding lives.

  • Athletes navigating mental health challenges often find there is a gap between what happens in the therapy space and on the field, track, court, or gym. Sport-specific experiential therapy allows us to take your care into your real life, leading to more sustainable healing.

Experiential sessions are uniquely tailored to each individual. One example of what this could look like, if you are a runner, is meeting at the track or out on the trail to provide you with a chance to engage in your workout while simultaneously accessing real-time support in challenging anxiety, processing body image thoughts, and guided practice in implementing mental performance skills (just to name a few!).

Prior to engaging in experiential therapy in your community, we will meet for an intake session to get to know each other, discuss your concerns and goals, and address managing confidentiality in public spaces.

  • My practice is grounded in the belief that, as therapists, we can best serve our clients when we commit to ongoing learning and professional development. I offer supervision for pre-licensed and associate-licensed therapists who are interested in specializing in eating disorders, athletes, and/or healthcare provider and first responder mental health.

I also provide case consultation in my specialty areas and for those seeking to enhance their use of IFS in clinical practice.

  • What Grad School Didn't Teach Me: IFS Informed Therapy Workshop for Therapists

    May 29th, 2026 10:30am - 12:20pm EST

Join Kayla Devine LICSW (IFSI Level 1 Trained) to explore topics not often covered in graduate school training. This workshop will focus on the Internal Family Systems model and offer:

    • An introduction to the IFS approach

    • Insights into how you can begin practicing from an IFS informed lens

    • Live practice to build your confidence in bringing this model to your work

This workshop is open to graduate students pursuing degrees in counseling, social work, or related fields, pre-licensed therapists, and licensed therapists.

    Disclaimers:

    • This workshop prepares you to engage in clinical care as an "IFS-informed therapist". In order to become an "IFS trained therapist", training must be complete through the IFSI

    • Though open to all mental health providers, individuals who have completed formal training through the IFSI may find material repetitive.

Modalities & Approaches

Relational & Attachment

Based in Relational Therapies, Attachment Theory, and a Systems Approach, I focus on supporting you in exploring how the ways we relate to ourselves and others impact overall well-being.

Values Based

Many of life’s challenges stem from a disconnect between our values and how we are currently living. I use an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy framework to help you reconnect with your values.

Parts Work

We all have parts shaped by our experiences, along with a core Self—our authentic center. Using Internal Family Systems, I help you understand your parts and feel grounded in your true Self.

Socially Just

No matter why you come to therapy or the approach we use, I am committed to practicing from a socially just perspective, incorporating Health at Every Size, trauma-informed, and inclusive frameworks.
